How to Do Analysis in Trading with Pivex: A Beginner’s Guide
Modified on Thu, 5 Nov at 6:50 AM
At Pivex, all analysis and trade execution take place in MatchTrader, our official trading platform, which supports fundamental, technical and sentiment analysis.
1. Fundamental Analysis
How economic events, data and politics move markets. Follow the integrated economic calendars, global news feeds and macroeconomic indicators (interest rate decisions, inflation, employment reports) to spot long-term trends in forex and indices and plan trades around news.
2. Technical Analysis
Use candlestick, line and bar charts and indicators like Moving Averages, RSI, MACD and Bollinger Bands to identify support and resistance, momentum shifts and potential trend reversals.
3. Sentiment Analysis
Pivex does not provide a dedicated sentiment widget. Gauge it from market reactions to events and announcements, volatility spikes and MatchTrader’s real-time news feeds.
4. Economic Calendar
MatchTrader’s built-in Economic Calendar tracks announcements such as interest rate changes, inflation figures and GDP reports, which often trigger strong moves. Filter it by currency and impact level to plan your sessions and avoid surprise volatility.
Using MatchTrader
Analyze with real-time data and multiple timeframes, apply indicators, and manage orders with stop-loss and take-profit. The platform is browser-based and also available on mobile.
