What are the Trading Challenge objectives and rules?

To pass the Trading Challenge you must reach the 10% profit target, stay within the 4% daily and 6% overall drawdown limits, trade on at least 5 days, and follow the trading rules. The challenge tests whether you can trade consistently and responsibly before the Pivex Funded stage (Funded Trader stage), where you trade simulated capital and earn rewards paid by Pivex, calculated from the results on your simulated account.
| Profit Target | 10% (based on initial balance) | If you start with $50,000, you need a $5,000 profit. Once you reach the target, ensure all open trades are closed. |
| Max Daily Drawdown | 4% (static) | If you start with $50,000, your account balance should never drop more than $2,000 in a single day. |
| Max Overall Drawdown | 6% (static, based on equity) | If you start with $50,000, your total balance should not fall below $47,000, even with unrealized losses. |
| Minimum Trading Days | 5 days | You must trade on 5 separate days. For example, you can make a profit on day 3, but you must place trades on at least 2 other days within the evaluation period. |
| Inactivity Limit | 30 days | If you don’t place any trades for 30 consecutive days, a Pivex Classic account is paused (temporarily frozen), not closed. You can reactivate it for free from your dashboard (“Reactivate”) and the same account resumes. Pivex Membership accounts are not frozen for inactivity. |
| Rewards | Not available during the challenge | You are not eligible for rewards during the Trading Challenge. Profits stay within the simulated trading environment and cannot be withdrawn. |
To pass, you must:
- Achieve the 10% profit target based on the initial simulated balance, closing all open positions once the target is reached.
- Stay within the maximum drawdown limits (4% daily and 6% overall).
- Complete at least 5 trading days.
- Avoid the prohibited strategies and trade consistently.
Once you meet these conditions and have completed identity verification, request the upgrade to the Funded Trader stage with the “Upgrade Account” button. After a 24–48 hour check, the same account becomes your Funded account.
All trading happens in a simulated environment using real-time market prices and execution logic, so you gain practical experience without risking real money. Questions? support@pivex.com
